The development will include ancillary buildings and structures such as the Main Entrance Gatehouse, external plant compounds, a site-wide substation and associated infrastructure.
The Data Centre building will include plant space to support the data halls, storage, office and welfare accommodation, logistics area and loading bay, as well as an external plant gantry accommodating standby generators, electrical plant rooms and heat rejection plant. The buildings shall be designed to achieve BREEAM very good.
We managed and witnessed the commissioning services throughout the project and brought our experience of similar large scale mission critical data centre projects to ensure our clients vision was delivered to the highest quality.
Our commissioning management responsibilities on this project included:
Development and maintenance of a daily commissioning plan.
OFCI Factory Witness/Testing (FOAK).
Tracking of commissioning activities (L1-L3) and integration with Cx Alloy.
QA/QC role on the electrical package.
Liaising with Clients CxA to ensure seamless certification, witnessing and L3-L4 activities.
