Sygna takes on Tough Mudder for Aiden’s Genie’s Wish

We are thrilled to announce that Sygna, a global leader in commissioning and project management, will be participating in the upcoming Tough Mudder event in support of The Genie's Wish charity and for Aiden, a brave 14-year-old individual who has been battling osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.
Tough Mudder is known worldwide for being a challenging, endurance-testing obstacle course that tests participants physically and mentally. Our brave Sygna team will be undertaking this difficult task in a show of dedication to the values of resilience, teamwork, and community that we hold dear. More importantly, the team will be pushing their limits to raise awareness for The Genie’s Wish charity, and funds to help grant Aiden's wish for an unforgettable UK holiday with his family.
Aiden’s story
In May 2022, Aiden underwent a life-changing surgery that involved the removal of his femur and knee, as well as the replacement of 50% of his quad muscles with metal. Since then, he has been undergoing rigorous physiotherapy to regain strength in his leg.
Despite the challenges he faces, Aiden's resilience and determination continue to inspire those around him.
He is a passionate football fan from Essex, England who supports the Wrexham A.F.C. football team and had the extraordinary opportunity to sit in the clubs owner, Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds' box on match day alongside Ryan’s actor colleague Paul Rudd, which has further fuelled Aiden’s zest for life.

Now, it is our chance to make a difference in Aiden's life with his wish is to go on a UK family holiday, creating cherished memories.
His Mum told us, "This holiday would provide a much-needed mental break for Aiden, giving him time to think things through away from his many medical requirements. Instead, he can relax and have fun in a new environment with his loved ones."
The Genie's Wish charity works tirelessly to fulfil the wishes of adults and children battling life-threatening illnesses. Their dedication and commitment have already brought smiles and hope to hundreds of individuals and their families around the world. By participating in Tough Mudder, Sygna aims to contribute significantly to this noble cause, helping The Genie's Wish charity make even more dreams come true.
We know that this endeavour will be challenging, but we also understand that the spirit of humanity is born through such challenges. We want to inspire others to support individuals like Aiden and show them that they are not alone in their battle. Through this effort, we hope to make a real difference.
